Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Livone iOS app. By checking the agreement box and tapping Let’s Begin, or by otherwise using Livone, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Livone lets you:

• Sign in with a device installation identifier. No email or password is required.
• Import photographs from Camera Scan, Photo Library, or Files.
• Run Restore to create a restored copy. Restore does not require a purchase.
• Compare before and after, save to Photos, or share through the system share sheet.
• Organize content in Albums, pin decades on Timeline, and add People labels yourself.

Photos, albums, labels, and nickname are stored on the device and are not a cloud photo library. Logging out does not delete that local library. There is no public social feed. Livone does not sell in-app purchases.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires a higher age to use this kind of app, and old enough to form a binding contract. If you use Livone for someone else, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for them. Livone is not directed to children.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of photos and text you add. You give Livone a limited license to store that content on your device, to display it in the app, and, when you run Restore, to transmit the selected image to a restoration processor solely to return a restored image to you.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to import, restore, label, save, and share what you use. You will not submit unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful material, including images of other people without a lawful basis.

Person labels are names you type. Livone does not detect faces or identify people in photographs.

4. Accounts

Your account is tied to an installation identifier created on the device and stored in the Keychain, together with a session issued by our service. You are responsible for the device you use to sign in.

Log Out ends the session. Local photos remain.

Delete everything forever requests deletion of the server account and removes local photos, albums, labels, and history from the app. This action cannot be undone. We may refuse or delay deletion where the law requires us to keep a record.

5. Purchases

Livone does not offer in-app purchases. Importing, browsing, restoring, labeling, and sharing do not require payment inside the app.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Restore on content you do not have the right to process;
• Probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the app or our services;
• Use Livone to harm others or to violate the law.

We may suspend access or features if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, or if we must do so for security, legal, or operational reasons.

7. Third-party services

Livone uses Apple frameworks, including Photos, the document camera, the share sheet, and App Tracking Transparency. Restoration is performed by an image-editing provider reached at api.vveai.com. Install measurement uses the Adjust SDK. Those parties process information under their own terms where applicable.

Legal pages open outside the main photo tools. Links to Apple, Adjust, or other sites are governed by those sites.

8. Intellectual property

Livone’s name, branding, interface, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Livone on Apple devices you own or control, under these Terms and Apple’s App Store terms.

9. Disclaimer

Livone is provided “as is” and “as available.” Restoration quality depends on the source photo and on the availability of the processing service. We do not guarantee that every photo will look the way you expect, that Restore will always succeed, or that local files will never be lost if a device fails, is reset, or is uninstalled.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Livone and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of photos, profits, or data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for a claim relating to Livone is limited to the amount you paid Apple for Livone in the three months before the claim, or USD $10 if you paid nothing, except where liability cannot be limited.

11. Termination

You may stop using Livone at any time and may delete the app. Sections that should survive by their nature — including content ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits — survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you continue to use Livone after an update, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and delete it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence, and by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement where it applies. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.
