What Livone does
Livone restores printed photographs and keeps the results on your iPhone. Import from a scan, your photo library, or Files. Run Restore to make a separate improved copy. Organize prints in Albums, pin them to a decade on Timeline, and add person names on People. Names are typed by you. The app does not detect faces.
Getting started
- Open Livone, check the box for Terms and Privacy Policy, then tap Let’s Begin.
- Sign-in uses this device. There is no email or password.
Restore a photo
- Open the Restore tab and choose Scan, Library, or Files. Files can be JPEG, PNG, HEIC, or TIFF.
- Confirm a scan before it is saved. The original stays in the app and is not overwritten.
- Tap Restore This Photo. Restore does not charge a fee. If the request fails or times out, try again.
- Restore needs a network connection. The selected photo is sent to our restoration processor and the result is saved back on the device.
- Use Save to put a copy in Photos, or the share button to send it with the iOS share sheet.
Purchases
Livone does not sell token packs or other in-app purchases. Importing, browsing, restoring, labeling, and sharing do not require payment inside the app.
Permissions
- Camera — scan a printed photo. If you previously denied it, iOS Settings → Livone → Camera.
- Photos — import a picture, and save a copy when you tap Save. You can still import from Files if Photos is off.
- Tracking — used for advertising measurement. Denying tracking does not turn off Restore. Change it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Livone does not use the microphone, location, contacts, or calendar.
Log out and delete
Log Out on Profile ends the session. Photos and albums stay on the device.
Delete everything forever removes enhanced copies, originals, albums, labels, and local history, and asks our service to delete the account. This cannot be undone.
If something fails
- Let’s Begin does not finish. Check the agreement box and your internet connection, then try again.
- Restore says it failed or timed out. Confirm the photo opened, stay on a stable network, and try again.
- Scan is unavailable. That device does not support the document camera. Use Library or Files.
- Save to Photos is blocked. Allow Add Photos in iOS Settings → Livone → Photos.
- A restored photo is missing after reinstall. Albums live in the app sandbox. Uninstalling removes them unless they are in an iCloud or Finder backup of the app, or you already saved copies to Photos.
